Karate in Chicago is a topic that most certainly brings to mind The Baker Brothers,
Preston Baker, Otis Baker and Eddie Baker. The Baker Brothers were Champions
during their days of competition and they have been training and teaching Martial Arts
for over forty years. Currently the school is "Baker's Dojo of Karate Education and
Science."
The Bakers have produced many black belts, champions, great teachers and promoters of the martial arts down through the years. The Bakers teach Shorei Goju-Ryu, a deadly style of martial arts that originates from Shuri-Ryu style from Okinawa, Japan.
